Honestly: Who thinks about the consequences of a head crash all the time? To remind the user that data can be lost in a hard disk crash I designed this case as a flight recorder. And besides that: Wouldn't it be a cool thing to have on your desk?

This was my contribution to the cover art competition for the VAST album »April«. The requirement was to create something that doesn't look digital but human. So I took this old photograph from the 19th century which was part of a royalty free collection I purchased several years ago. I placed the VAST logos on the boat and arranged the wording in the surrounding white area. I did not win.
