The requirement was to illustrate the advantage of being a subscriber of the kressreport, the standard magazine for media professionals in Germany. Due to its tradition in the German market (the first issue was released in 1966) the huge archive was chosen to be emphasised.
This was shown during the kress Awards 2010 in Hamburg.
Screw your diet – buy this stuff. This idea was a spin-off from this post.
These icons were created to illustrate the options users of kress.de have inside the login area to change personal settings.
The idea behind this campaign for Galabautechnik.de was to create some machinery that obviously does not exist. The according claim was »There is no machine for all challenges. But there is one for yours.«
The model actually consists of parts taken from 7 models of other machines purchased through turbosquid.com, the portal of our choice when it comes to get 3D material at short notice.
I am looking for a good lens for taking portraits and came across this impressive Tamron lens, which I was able to test. Without a doubt the image quality is superb but there is one thing that might push me towards an alternative lens.
The Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2,8 Di MACRO 1:1 is a very good lens and when you are going to advance into macro photography this is probably the lens of your choice. The picture quality is really great (see this photo’s original resolution on Flickr), but when it comes down to portrait photography the focussing is just too slow. Both imaging performance and wide aperture make this lens really popular, but what it needs to make it a complete portrait lens is a quick focussing motor which Tamron unfortunately can’t offer.
So this is why I am going to buy the Canon EF 85mm 1:1.8 USM. For me the speed is much more important than the great macro opportunities of the Tamron.
A wee drop of whisky and The Blue Nile – good stuff for a Scottish night …
We got the opportunity to test drive the Canon lens EF 50mm f/1.4 USM and this is one of the test shots. There is nothing out there that can beat the value you get for the price of this lens: High speed focus with Ultrasonic Motor and being able to take picture without a flash when it’s (almost) pitch black.
And the image quality? See yourself – here is the massive resolution of that picture.
